Style: Elegant French 19th century Vanity Mirror. This exquisite piece features a beautifully sculpted putto supporting the mirror frame from a classical plinth, flanked symmetrically by integrated candle sconces. It rests upon a distinguished black marble base.


Story: Gracing dressing tables throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, French gilt bronze table swivel mirrors were exquisite examples of decorative artistry. These ornate pieces were lavishly carved and gilded, showcasing bronze's dual virtues: its enduring strength and its remarkable capacity for intricate detailing. Their signature adjustable swivel mechanism made them as practical as they were beautiful.
