Story: Beyond its breath taking Louis XVI giltwood craftsmanship and striking French Neoclassical design, this late 18th-century mirror holds a profound cultural story. It is a ‘miroir de mariage’, a traditional wedding mirror once gifted to brides as an enduring token of love, prosperity, and fidelity, a truly cherished custom central to French nuptials of the era.
