Style: A substantial Lancashire chair, its broad rush‑filled seat inviting comfort. Crafted from richly patinated elm and ash, the solid turned frame rises on tall, padded feet. This quintessential country piece commands the head of the table with unmistakable presence.  Measurements are: H 108cm Width front 60cm D 43cm Width seat 54cm Height seat 41cm


Story: The chair’s design originated in the Lancashire and Cheshire area of England’s North West, though it became widely known simply as a “Lancashire” chair. These chairs were crafted for kitchen use in modest country homes throughout the region.
