Style: A delightful and unique French mid-century owl sculpturral vessel made from fiberglass with a convincing ceramic finish. It features a smooth, tactile body resting on a rustic branch base, complete with bright black and yellow glass eyes. Highly versatile, this piece doubles as a unique plant pot, or a stylish umbrella and walking stick stand, or just a stunning stylish sculpture. Some light scuffs and scrapes.


Story: Originating in the late 1960s to early 1970s, this sculptural owl mold became a beloved staple of the whimsical, animal themed decor trends defining Hollywood Regency and mid-century modern design. Notably, this exact mold was also used to create a mid-century French fiberglass table lamp.
