Item Details

Style: Add a touch of rustic charm to your kitchen with this substantial, good condition for its age board-mounted educational Deyrolle poster featuring breeds of cows. Translated to "Farm Animals", this unique and rare reproduction is presented on its original board, complete with eyelet holes for convenient hanging. While there is some expected wear to the bottom corners, these imperfections would be concealed when framed. By French artist Barnard Carant, Paris. Circa 1950's.


Story: Founded by Jean-Baptiste Deyrolle, a preparer at the Brussels museum, Maison Deyrolle was established to supply specimens for the natural science collections of museums and private collectors during this era of major scientific expeditions.  Bernard Carant, Paris.
