Style: A stunning rare pair of decorative Italian iron chairs finished in a classic bamboo and cane aesthetic. These durable, high backed stylish chairs feature beautifully detailed metal seats, pairing sturdy construction with graceful, vintage design. Circa 1960's. Seat height 44cm.


Story: A variation of the classic Italian Chiavari chair. While Regency era originals were traditionally carved from beechwood to mimic the look of bamboo, mid century Italian designers reimagined the form in brass and metal, finishing the design with distinctive metal mesh caned seats.
