Style: Stylish Boho 1960s large white-painted rattan mirror featuring an elegant solid oval frame adorned with delicate, swirling scrollwork. Includes the original heavy mirror glass and a metal hanging hook on the back.


Story: Rattan mirrors reached the height of their popularity from the 1950s to the 1970s, becoming quintessential elements of bohemian and Mid-Century Modern interiors, particularly in iconic sunburst forms. Originally made from pliable vines native to Southeast Asia, these mirrors gained favor in Europe during the 19th century and were later championed in the 1950s by influential designers such as Franco Albini, especially in France and Italy.
