Style: A charming and pretty pair of 19th century painted chairs, featuring cream-finished frames enriched with gilded accents and turquoise flourishes. The hallmark of these pieces is the ethereal, hand-painted forget-me-not detailing in delicate shades of pale turquoise and green. Both chairs are upholstered (they would have originally been caned) in a two tone blue-green raw silk.


Story: 19th-century hand painted chairs, ranging from elegant Regency to rustic folk styles, blended functional durability with ornate artistry through vibrant motifs and gilded accents.
