An exceptional find! These exquisite Art Nouveau bentwood beech swoon worthy dining chairs, famously known as 'Peacock' Thonet chairs - No. 25, were crafted in Austria circa 1900. Their authenticity is unequivocally guaranteed, having been officially authenticated by Thonet themselves. Each chair bears the distinctive Thonet stamp and an inscribed sun detail – a hallmark of their meticulous craftsmanship, reportedly used to precisely match original pairs or sets. Recently revitalised, they feature elegant new upholstery in a sophisticated grey linen.
