Style: A pair of vintage cast stone planters, heavily weathered and flecked with moss and lichen, sat on a fluted base. Each planter is adorned with a swag style tassel and floral motif. They are notably substantial in weight.  H 33cm Top Diam 36cm Base Diam 21cm


Story: Stone planters began life in the 18th and 19th centuries as solid stone troughs used to water or feed livestock. When their agricultural purpose waned, their durability and weather‑resistance, made them perfect for growing alpine plants, and they soon evolved into a popular decorative element in gardens.
