Style: In the manner of Coalbrookdale, this elegant Victorian-style birdbath features a circular deep basin adorned with a finely cast leaf-moulded rim. It rises from a decorative foliate baluster stem and is supported by a classic tripod base with gracefully scrolled feet. Can also be used as a planter. H 75cm Bowl 32 cm base 43cm


Story: Victorian birdbaths, emerging in the 1840s with middle-class gardens, became ornamental symbols of a nature connection amid industrialisation, crafted from stone, terracotta, or cast iron, often adorned with cherubs or shells, blending romanticism with mass-produced garden art.
