Style: A sturdy oak stool, featuring a solid seat with carved edges. Crafted in the Refectory style, it showcases traditional techniques with pegged construction, a carved cross stretcher, and distinctive x shape leges at each end, beautifully carved. Once upholstered with a pad or cushion, but now removed, the tack holes revealed add character to this rustic piece.

Story: Stools are some of the earliest made furniture. Used as seats, occasional tables, and milking cows.
