Style: A charming hand carved duck shaped trinket box, its surface adorned with delicate, hand painted folk art motifs in burnished gold, black, and creamy ivory. The scene on both sides features houses beside a tree under a night sky dotted with twinkling stars, set amid furrowed fields. Some small patches of wear commensurate with age.


Story: Hand painted wooden duck trinket boxes merge the folk‑art legacy of decoy carving with the nostalgic, functional appeal of tiny lidded containers, drawing on styles of Latin America and Europe.
