Story: There is a timeless charm to these long, narrow painted consoles. With their sweeping cabriole legs and trio of drawers, they embody the spirit of the 18th century. Originating in the 17th century France and Italy, console tables were initially decorative, wall mounted surfaces supported by S shaped brackets. By the 18th century, they evolved to feature the iconic cabriole leg, a signature Rococo style design defined by a convex ‘knee’ and a concave ‘ankle’.
