a 17th century charles ii oak chest of drawers, of warm colour and pleasing proportions, on bun feet, c.1670. Chest comes in two halves- an antique, if not original, feature- facilitating easy movement. Structural condition is very good, only real fault being a bowing to the top drawer (as pictured) so that it doesn’t sit quite flush, but does not hinder the use of the drawer. Handles and escutcheons are antique replacements, in the style of the originals.
