Item Description

Early 20th century English chemist counter display cabinet.

Once upon a time this compact glass cabinet would have sat on a chemist counter top. Displaying small pharmaceutical products for sale. This completely untouched example with glass shelves would make a great addition to cool bathroom interior display.   Size in inches: H 16” x W 13” x D 9” Origin: United Kingdom Material: Wood and Glass Date: 1920 – 1930 Completely solid in structure and form, The shelves are missing 2 or 3 side hinge supports which makes the shelves wobbly and unstable. The back hinge still works and lock the cabinet. Overall this cabinet is solid, with all original sections and not restored, its old so please expect wear as shown. You may need to hammer in small pin nails into the wood so that the glass shelves can sit properly. We sell antique objects that have stood the test of time, in overall presentable condition, please take this into consideration when purchasing. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and proposing questions where sections are unclear or not seen to avoid disappointment.
