Early 19^th Century Folk Art Hand Painted Games Board

A highly decorative example of a late 19^th Century hand painted/crafted games board. Double sided with one side being painted by hand and the other of inlaid wooden sections.

Dimensions in inches: H 14” x W 14” x D 1.5”

Age: 1890

Origin: English

Condition: Aged

Aged wear across all wooden surfaces on both sides. With loss of painted detail across the raised framed boarder. One inlaid piece of stained maroon squares is missing on the reverse as shown, we feel this doesn’t matter the hand painted side is the main display side.
