Item Details

19th Century Lead Gargoyle Architectural Fragment
An unusual and exceptionally rare architectural fragment, believed to have originally formed part of an exterior building façade. Cast in lead, the piece depicts a mythical beast with an open mouth and prominent fangs. The winged or feather-like detailing strongly suggests a Gothic Revival or medieval-inspired design, making it a striking decorative object with considerable architectural character and historical appeal.
