Overview
This highly sculptural form that would have originally sat on display in an English hat makers store in the early part of the 20th Century. Made from fine hand carved walnut wood in 2 sections, the head can be moved 30 degrees from left to right. It would have modelled either wigs or hats at some point. A deep natural patina covers this item showing some lovely grain, and its artistic and naïve in look.
