Early 20th Century Shop Display Mannequin Bust

A very sculpture early 20th century French (Paris) shop display caged neck bust. Made from layers of paper Mache and card, fitted with a removable metal caged neck. It’s likely to have had arms attached at some point as the shoulder section has a bolting fitting still in place. This form is quite artistic and sculptural in our humble opinion and different to most seen. Recently uncovered in Paris from a private antique collector of shop advertising.

A well aged item, which has stood the test of time. In close to perfect condition structurally, The surface is worn in areas and stained at the reverse base of leg as shown. The metal cage neck can be taken off also. Without breaks or structural damage and in presentable / usable condition.
