Item Description

A charming pair of early 20th Century hand carved pine puppets / Marionette doll figures. With their original clothing still intact, hand painted detail and articulated joints. The facial features are what makes this pair so charming, and we felt it fitting to name the scene “She loves me”. As she is quite pretty, and he is a little less so. These two figures would have been part of a larger group at some point.

Origin: Unknown Circa: Early 20th century

Condition: Aged Completely solid in structure and form, aged surface as shown with a deep natural patina across all areas. Loss of detail and paint. They do not stand alone, the legs and arms do not bend but the heads, hands and feet do.
