This quintessential piece of southern French pottery from the 19th century has a beautiful green glaze which contrasts with the warm terracotta body. Traditionally used for mixing and serving, its wide shallow form and pouring lip reflect its roots in Provencal kitchens. The glaze shows age appropriate crazing and wear, adding depth and authenticity. A very beautiful bowl of large proportions, 46 cm across and 19 cm high.
