Item Description
Really pretty large gilt filigree brooch decorated with florals and with safety catch on the back. Probably made in pre-War Czechoslovakia early to mid 1930s as this is typical of the jewellery from there, although of a better than average quality. In amazing, barely-worn condition, with all the gilt intact which really makes it shimmer and sparkle like gold. Safety catch at back nice and firm. I suspect this lovely brooch has been put away unlooked at and away from the light for many years. Will be wrapped in tissue paper and put in a brand new white gift box (see last photo). 5.5cm wide x 4.5cm high.
