Item Details

A splendid late Victorian/Edwardian English twin handled silver plated wine bottle coaster, Circa 1900, with makers hallmark for Marples & Co Ltd. Good quality, the base is turned wood with a green baize. Tall, this smart coaster would originally have held a syphon bottle or wine bottle. The applied twin handles are twisted twigs with a central bow.

An excellent addition to the dining table or home bar.
