A contemporary abstract work dated 2024, by Stuart MacLeod, exploring ideas of fragments, borders, construction, modernism and memory. Painted on linen with layers of inks, gesso, natural pigments, acrylic, and presented in a vintage French frame. With years working in fashion and design in Paris, and later Sri Lanka, he now works between the UK and Normandy, immersed in painting and sourcing hunting for Tour de Source.
