Dimensions: 205cm wide x 78cm deep x 77cm high. 3 Drawers 35.5cm wide x 58.25cm deep x 11.5cm high, 2 Cupboards 47cm wide x 69cm deep x 26cm high, 1 Cupboard 50cm wide x 69cm deep x 26cm high (the shelves are all n adjustable tracks) This simply stunning 19th Century Shop Counter is in really beautiful condition. The counter was original made for a Tailors shop in London, it then found its way to France, where I bought it and now it is back in the UK.. I am wondering if it will once again live in London.. coming full circle! This shop counter is beautifully made and the solid walnut wood is in really super condition. Nothing very much in the way of wear or tear. The original drawer and cupboard handles have been replaced, but would easily be changed should you wish to. The sideboard is made up of three useful sized drawers, three cupboards, all with a shelf on moveable tracks giving you two useful adjustable storage levels. The unique and wonderful detail here is that there are flat sections that pull out there the shop attendant would refold shirts or jumpers. This is a wonderful original feature. The cupboard doors and drawers are all in great working order. The back to the counter is the same wood as the remainder but has always been positioned against a wall. Should you wish to use this as an island, I am sure the back would polish up well. A unique piece, with a wonderful story, in fabulous condition. Ready to use as it is.
