A handsome pair of tall Florentine terracotta urns, attributed to Montelupo and dating from the 19th century. Montelupo Fiorentino remains one of Italy’s most important centres of pottery production, known for the quality of its clay and craftsmanship.


These urns retain traces of original paint and have aged beautifully, with a warm patina that reflects their history. Well-proportioned and decorative, they work equally well flanking a hallway, in a garden room, or placed in a sheltered position outdoors.
