A charming life-size owl, intricately hand-carved from natural stone and shown standing alert upon an integral pedestal.
The carving is wonderfully naturalistic, with finely observed feathering and a characterful expression. There is a small area of historic loss, entirely in keeping with its age and outdoor life.
