Description: Stunning cast iron door knocker by James Collins. Original, quality late 1880’s design with a drop loop form in an aesthetic movement pattern. This unusual example has a very detailed surface design in relief to both the knocker and backplate. The makers mark of an arrow & circle appears as a stamp on the reverse along with the Reg No: 202371 dating it to 1893.

Condition: Very good. this fine example comes with all its original components, bolts & strike plate. Ready to install.
