Item Details

Description: An original, quality late 19th Century Victorian letter flap. The clapper in solid brass has embossed 'LETTERS' lettering to the flap. In a graphic Arts & Crafts shape. There are 6 screw holes for installation.

Condition: Very good. A new spring has been fitted. The brass is very lightly polished by hand and unlacquered, therefore a polish occasionally with brass cleaner would be needed to maintain this level of shine.
