Description: Antique French double towel rail. With its original glass rails this piece dates from the early 1900’s. Beautifully shaped mounts in solid brass with gently worn nickel plating. Versatile size to comfortably hold large hand towels. Each backplate has 2 holes for screws for wall mounting.

Condition: Very good. Sensitively restored to still reflect the age of the piece. The original nickel plate has worn slightly to reveal the brass underneath. The glass rail has an old repair, possibly what was once a chip, it is noticeable only on close inspection and does not effect the use. One bracket has a solder repair in tone to the nickel, which is very secure.
