Description: Stunning quality mid to late 19th Century handles. These Scottish antique spherical door knobs and backplates are made from real cow horn. Being a natural material the horn varies in pattern and tone. Lovely quality and good weight with both handles being made from solid horn which has been lathe turned. Complete with a threaded standard square bar and grub screw adjustment system to fit both mortice and rim locks and latches.


Condition: Very good. One backplate has a chip next to the screw hole, see photos 2 & 6, though this is hidden once installed.
