A vintage De Vere floor standing work / draughtman's lamp with wide aluminium "wing" shade, a central plated steel stem and a heavy circular moulded cast iron base with De Vere England inscripted on it.Excellent quality and condition with very minor losses to the plating near the bottom of the stem.Cleaned and rewired with the original pair of brass and ceramic lampholders, approx 3.2 meters (from the base) of silicone covered flex and a traditional style hard plastic plug. The wing shade can angle up and down and swivel and can rise and fall up and down the stem.Rare lamp. Approx 1940s.

The wing shade is 38.125"/97cms wide by 11.75"/30cms high
The height to the top of the stem is 59"/150cms ( maximum height with the wing tilted up is 63.5"/161cms)
The cast iron base is 12.375"/31.5cms in diameter.
