Framed and glazed etching with drypoint of the HMS Victory at Portsmouth by Graham Barry Clilverd (1883-1959), signed in pencil, plate size 302 x 200mm (11.9 x 7.9ins). The iconic and enduringly popular HMS Victory is a 104-gun first-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, ordered in 1758, laid down in 1759 and launched in 1765. She is best known as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The entire piece measures 50.3cm high, 37.5cm wide and 1.5cm deep.
