Excellent quality, early 20th century chrome on brass altar crucifix. Very heavy, beautifully cast with great detail. Stepped base leading upward to the cross, magnificent cast Jesus, being held in place by studs (1 missing) The scroll above Jesus is - J N R J jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum (Latin: Inscription on the Cross ordered by Pilatus) Patination to the surface.
