Item Description
A stunning 19th century polychromed wooden tiger, originating in Myanmar, would add a unique and oriental feel to your home. It is made from solid wood and has been hand painted. Due to the age of this piece some of the paint has peeled, revealing a gorgeous Burmese hardwood underneath. This figure would have been found in shrines or peoples homes as its menacing appearance was said to ward of bad spirits and protect the local people.
