Item Description

A small, 18th century, white salt glaze jelly mould. This is very finely potted, from a white salt glazed pottery, and it has an orange peel effect to the glaze. It is English and it dates from c.1750. This geometric design of mould was known as a patty pan. There is a very fine, hairline crack running from the rim to the top of the mould. This can be seen in the images.
Dimensions: Width 7.3cm, Height 2.2cm.
