Item Description

A very good quality, 19th century, oval copper mould made by Benhams. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ‘192’. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper and dates from c.1870. The design consists of six scrolling columns which are topped by small domes and divided by smaller scrolling columns. This is an attractive design and it is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
