Item Description
A lovely quality, Wedgwood Dragon Lustre bowl. This is marked with the Portland vase mark above “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” all in gilt. There is a painted pattern number “Z4829” over the letter “F”, also in gilt and the piece dates from c.1920. The dragon lustre pieces were designed by Daisy Meikig Jones who also designed the highly sought after Moonlight Lustre. This bowl is well decorated with gilt dragons on a mottled blue ground. The interior is decorated with dragons in gilt, iron red and blue against an attractive pearl colour glaze. It is in excellent condition.
