Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark green, majolica glazed plate moulded with a sunflower. This is marked ”WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letters “CKR”. This is the date code for the year of manufacture which was 1863. There are two further impressed letters, an “A” and an “F”. These could be workman’s marks. The moulded design shows a sunflower against a basket weave border and it is covered in a dark green, majolica glaze. It is in excellent condition.
