Item Description

A rather special vintage brass chandelier - the oval shape is very pretty and quite hard to source (and works particularly well over rectangular dining tables). The chandelier features two tiers of brass bands - the top is decorated with cast acanthus leaves, each with an icicle drop suspended from the centre, then dressed beneath with a curtain of more icicle drops. Behind the top band there are 2 bulbs with a further 2 behind the bottom band which creates a nicely even distribution of light. Both oval bands are pierced with crystal buttons in each opening; the bottom band also features pairs of cherubs on both sides, front and back.

All of our chandeliers have been rewired and restored to current British specifications and are in full working order. We recommend that all chandeliers are fitted by a qualified electrician and are securely fitted into a joist.
