Rare Peter Hoyte Armchair Mid Century 1960s

Terrific lounge chair by British designer Peter Hoyte and presented in a very nice condition with the desired angled alloy base.  The slick and stunning profile of the chair wins the day with us. These were made in relatively small numbers and becoming more difficult to find in good condition. Retailed in the likes of Heals and Harrods in their day.

Workshop report – This one survives in a rather splendid order. Importantly the alloy steel base is in good order with no faults or repairs. The seat is upholstered in a rich cream Cristina Marrone chenille fabric that has a subtle wave pattern which sits in fine order with no rips, marks and is perfectly usable and up for the task. We can offer new upholstery on this if you desire, we are happy to obtain a price.

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping. 

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item.  If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
