Item Description
An antique French boule d'escalier, circa 1900, the blue cased and cut glass ball upon original brass base with screw fitting.
This would have originally been used as a decorative finial at the bottom or top of a staircase banister.
16.75cm high, 9cm diameter.
One chip to the underside of the base of the glass and small impact mark - see photographs.
