Item Description
A Vintage Morrocan Berber door, with an overall intricate incised and stained design of 'daisy wheels', concentric circles and geometric motifs, the reverse incised with daisy wheels and cross-hatched banding on a red ochre stained ground, with wooden lockplate and dome head iron nails.
The daisy wheel symbol, also known as a hexafoil, is a six-petaled flower shape formed by intersecting circles, often found as an apotropaic mark meant to ward off evil spirits or bad luck.
