Antique French Textile Factory Storage Box
A fabulous original brown fibreboard storage box salvaged from a textile factory in France. These boxes were originally made to be highly practical providing hard wearing, dry containers that could store textile materials.
The box has practical carry handles and is sturdy with riveted corners and metal rim to the top and bottom. The base also has the original wooden supports.
It is ideal as a storage solution for logs, shoes, toys or as a film prop.
Origin: France
Circa: 1950s
Workshop Report: The box is structurally sound. There is some wear to the fibreboard in places which gives it more character.
