Item Description
A gilt metal wine or side table modelled as a wheatsheaf bound by a twisted rope, probably 1960s.
A classic design first made popular in the 1950s when Salvador Dali famously gifted a similar table to Coco Chanel, made by jeweller Robert Goossens, for her apartment in Rue Cambon, Paris.
Small and beautiful, the metalwork has age related signs of wear.
