Item Description
An English oak writing table, circa 1880s, with a carved façade with two drawers, barley twist legs connected by a single barley twist stretcher.
I have a very similar one at home as my desk, with a blue baize top. This one had a split running across the top so we considered covering it with a baize. We're currently experimenting with lots of kintsugi techniques so we repaired the top in a kintsugi style with gold mica, creating a subtle and stylish stripe of gold against the oak.
