Item Description

Portrait of Queen Victoria, The original image was taken at Buckingham Palace in 1896. 

This would have hung prominently in a public building. Most likely to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
The image is a high quality print and completely original to the time. 
Original back boards to reverse and brass hanging chain. 
Some losses to the gesso, some of these losses are present but not attached.
This piece is approximately 127 years old and has survived.

Width: 78 cm 
Depth: 5.5 cm 
 
Signs of use, age, wear, some losses, damage.
