An Exceptional Large Antique French sauce boat made of sterling silver (.950), dating back and hallmarked between 1819-1838 Louis XVIII period. This large sauce boat showcases intricate craftsmanship and historical significance with its traditional form with leaf capped scroll handle raised on an oval base. It has the initials CD.
This is a very large sauce boat that measures 25 cm long from tip of spout to back of handle, 18 cm tall from bottom of foot to top of handle and 10 1/2 cm wide across the middle and has an impressive weight of 439 grams of French .950 Silver.
