Item Description
This pair of large trumpet vases by William Comyns & Sons, dating back to 1909/10, are true antique pieces crafted from sterling silver. The hand hammered pattern adds a unique touch to their design, making them a standout addition to any collection. With a sterling silver composition and an Art Nouveau style, these vases embody the elegance and sophistication of the early 20th century. Perfect for displaying flowers or as decorative pieces in a traditional setting, these vases are a testament to the craftsmanship and artistry of a bygone era.
The Vases are in very good condition and do have a few very small dings from years of use. They are very heavy with a substantial weighted base and are a very large size. They have a wavy rim design and the sides are hand hammered. They are a true statement piece and impressive. They measure 20.5 cm tall, 14.25 cm wide across the top and base is 9 cm wide. They have a combined weight of 1,940 grams but they have weighted bottoms so that is not the true silver weight.
